Terms of Use
Effective date: July 16, 2026
The app
Quiet MoodLog is a personal mood and symptom journal. By using it you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Not medical advice
Quiet MoodLog is a self-reflection tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Insights and patterns shown in the app are simple statistics computed from your own entries and must not be used as a basis for medical decisions. If you have concerns about your mental or physical health, consult a qualified professional. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services or a helpline immediately.
Your data, your responsibility
Your journal is stored only on your device. That means you are in sole control of it — including keeping backups. We cannot recover data lost through device loss, uninstalling the app, a forgotten app-lock PIN, or a forgotten backup passphrase. The app provides an encrypted backup feature; using it is strongly recommended.
Purchases
The Pro upgrade is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play under their terms. It unlocks Pro features on devices signed into the purchasing store account and can be restored through the store. Refunds are handled by the stores according to their policies.
Acceptable use
You may not reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app except where law expressly permits. The app, its design and its content (excluding your journal entries, which are yours) remain the property of the developer.
Warranty & liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any damages arising from use of the app, including data loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or affects your statutory consumer rights.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the app evolves; the current version is always at this address. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
